What is a funeral plan?

A pre-paid funeral plan is the easy way to arrange and pay for your funeral in advance, whilst protecting your loved ones against unexpected costs and making sure everything's how you would have wanted it. 

The two main benefits of a funeral plan are peace of mind that you've arranged and paid for your funeral in advance meaning less stress at a difficult time for your loved ones and that your final wishes are met. It could also be that you save money due to rising funeral costs.


The Co-op range of funeral plans include a different combination of services, so you can choose the one that most suits your needs. 


We offer free advice and can answer your questions so that you can make an informed choice as to which plan is best for you.


Our service is completely free as we are authorised agents of the Co-op and so can showcase their range of plans at no extra cost to you. There is absolutely no-obligation to buy, plus you have the Co-op Commitment and a money back option (minus admin costs).

*£18.96 per month is based on a 50 year old purchasing a Simple Funeral Plan at £3,095 over 25 years (total amount repayable £5,789.82). Our low cost monthly instalments give you a range of payment options, providing greater flexibility. With a choice of terms over 2 - 25 years you can spread the cost of paying for your funeral plan. An Instalment Charge is included in the plan cost if you choose to pay over 2-25 years. A maximum age limit applies to the Plan Purchaser. This option is available to anyone as long as the plan is paid for in full before the Plan Purchaser's 80th birthday. Prices correct at 1st March 2021.


**The Co-op Commitment applies if you are paying in instalments over 2-25 years and 1 year has passed since the start date, instalments must be paid up to date and your funeral must be carried out by one of our Funeral Directors. See our terms and conditions.
